1. The Monarchical Era – The reason for the delay in Monarchy

• Rehoboam, Solomon’s successor. In his days the Kingdom was divided into North and South

COURSE FOUR

THE PROPHETS ERA
1. A Collaborative Context: By this, the prophets helped as agents of God to direct, correct and warn the Monarchs on how to rule politically. They sometimes declared judgment where the King is impudent, depraved and rebellious to God and his laws.
2. Prophets as Seers – Hozeh
3. Prophets as Proclaimers – Nabi
4. Prophets as agents of warning and corrections
5. The Roles of the Prophets;
• They helped to establish or write bulk of the Jewish canon.
• They directed and corrected kings.
• The declared judgment on wicked kings.
• They warned God’s people or tribe of failing to keep to the tenets of the laws.
• They declared the consequences associated moral decadence.
• The prophets fore-told the coming of the Messiah and the future kingdom of God, under the Church.
• They announced the events of the end-time.
The era was divided into two parts: the Major Prophets and the Minor Prophets.

COURSE FIVE

THE GOSPELS AS THE FIRST ADVENT OF JESUS CHRIST
    1. Gospel of Matthew as Jesus, the Messianic Saviour
    2. Gospel of Mark as Jesus, the Miracle worker, the Son of Man
    3. Gospel of Luke as Jesus, the Prophet and universal Saviour
These three are known as synopsis because of their similarities and uniform style of presentations.
    4. Gospel of John as Jesus, God in the incarnate of God, the Word of God made flesh.
The gospel revealed the personality of Jesus.
The apostles manifested the gospel by the leading of the Holy Spirit. This is what resulted to Acts of the Apostles.
    5. Acts of the Apostles is the coming of the HOLY SPIRIT and the birth of the Church. It is the apostolic activities and spread of the Gospel worldwide. The apostles followed the guidance and leading of the Holy Spirit to carry out the Mission enterprise to humanity.

COURSE SIX

TRUE CHRISTLIKE PERSON
The Epistles as the Nature and Character of Regenerated Christians in Churches
1. Romans Epistle – Apologetic Text to the Gentiles
2. Hebrews Epistle – Apologetic Text to the Jews
3. Galatians to 2 Thessalonians – are specific letters to particular or community Churches.
4. 1 & 2Timothy and Titus – are scholastic or Pastoral epistles
5. Philemon – is a personal letter to friend and son
6. James to Jude – are universal letters to scattered Christians in the world. They are also known as Catholic Epistles.
7. The Book of Revelation – is the panoramic unfolding of the events of the last day. The second advent of Christ Jesus. They are Apocalypses of the last days.

COURSE seven

CONTROVERSIAL ISSUES IN THE HOLY BIBLE
1. Harmatology – Is sin eternal?
2. Does Hell exist?
3. Does Heaven exist?
4. Does Purgatory exist?
5. What about Evolution theory on Big Bang, Natural Selection and Homo Sapiens?
6. Was there a world before Adam’s day?
7. Where is the Garden of Eden currently? Is it a place or presence?
8. What Canon did Cain and Abel adopt?
9. Where did Cain get his wife?
10. After Millennium Reign of Christ will the world continue to exist?
11. When the Earth and Heaven melt away with fervent heat, where will the angels, raptured saints and sinners in hell be?
12. How about the Gospel of eternal security: once saved forever saved?
13. Where was sins atoned for: on the Cross or eternal altar?
